The ITRF, in collaboration with the Alaska Conservation Alliance and the Northern Wilderness Council, has launched a multi-year initiative to enhance environmental protection along the Iditarod route.
The project focuses on habitat restoration, trail waste reduction, and educational programs promoting responsible outdoor practices.
Through this partnership, the Foundation aims to ensure that the legendary trail remains both accessible and sustainable for generations of mushers and nature enthusiasts.
